I started Rise in Flame because I was once in a dark place. Alone. Helpless. Hopeless. Purposeless. Scared. Not knowing how to live or move forward. So much of me felt hollow. It was as if I was existing not as me, but merely as a shell.
For a while, I did nothing but sit in all my emptiness and hopelessness. The present moment was painful and the future was an exhausting, distant dream. This only made things worse.

It got to the point where my body nearly gave up on me; I had gone from 145 to 110 llbs in a matter of weeks. Dangerously deprived of food, sleep, and almost all sources of nourishment, I eventually realized I had to seek help or I would reach a point of no return. I desperately tried to find someone who would guide me back to myself -- back to my soul -- and who would do so in a natural, empowering, and spiritual manner.

The search was disheartening. I couldn’t find what I KNEW I needed. Where were the people like me? Where is the hope? How am I supposed to have faith? While the world begged me to try interventions that made me feel sick and disempowered, I wanted so badly to find alternative, natural ways to truly heal and find myself again.

This is when I turned to meditation, body movement, and healthy eating…EVERYTHING changed.
I took my power back and decided I was going to heal myself. Why? Because WE have everything we need to succeed in this life.

I LOVE MY BODY AND EVERYTHING IT'S DONE FOR ME!
Creating this healthy lifestyle was my foundation.
I started to gain this profound gratitude for my body.
Soon, I found myself again.
Since then, I have dedicated myself to exploring and mastering a plethora of natural eating techniques and body movements to perfect my physique and those of other women so that I can share the knowledge and wisdom I have acquired with those who are currently enduring what I once endured.
Your healthy mind and body starts NOW!
I believe we can all be reborn and reignite our inner flame.
Apart from the inner and outer healing work I’ve performed, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Communications and my master’s degree in Business Administration, which led me to opportunities at NBC Universal and iHeartRadio. In 2018, I was honored to be presented with Miss Connecticut USA second runner up -- an accolade that taught me the profound beauty that exists within genuine confidence, women empowerment, physical and emotional strength, and perseverance.
